Mumbai - In preparation for the upcoming Ganeshotsav, Central Railway has announced a total of 222 special trains to accommodate the surge in passenger traffic. This includes an additional 20 trains recently added to the already announced 202 Ganpati special trains. Reservations for these additional trains will commence on August 7, 2024.
Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Ratnagiri
Eight bi-weekly special trains will operate between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Ratnagiri. Details of these services are as follows:
Train No. 01131/01132 (Bi-Weekly):
Departure from LTT: 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th September at 8:00 PM
Arrival at Ratnagiri: 4:50 AM the next day
Departure from Ratnagiri: 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th September at 8:40 AM
Arrival at LTT: 5:15 PM the same day
Halt Stations: Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road, and Sangameshwar Road
Composition: 21 LHB Coaches including AC, Sleeper, General, and SLR coaches.
Panvel to Ratnagiri
Special weekly trains will also run between Panvel and Ratnagiri:

Departure from Panvel: 8th and 15th September at 4:40 AM
Arrival at Ratnagiri: 11:50 AM the same day
